Not sure if this is within the purview of the whole Internet-based reading group thing, but I was curious if there were any plans to have "IRL" chats about the book? (via, say meetup.com or some such) |

Sure, I'll organize a meet-up in New York. Greenwich Village, to be precise. I have a friend who's planning to read the book as well, so there'll be at least two of us, and anyone else can join if they like. Here's the time and place: Dates: Weekly on Thursdays starting July 2nd (I'm out of town the last week of June) Time: 6pm Place: The Four-Faced Liar, 165 W 4th St I started a twitter account for it, too, to make announcements: http://twitter.com/infsumnyc Can't wait. I have already read IJ, but it was years ago. I think I'll probably get more out of it now. |

I'm sort of in the boonies but I will be doing a lot of business travel this summer so I will look into any local meetups. I'll be coming to NYC, Chicago, Minneapolis, and LA for sure. |

I'd be glad to set something up in the Boston area. I'd love to visit the locations (fictional and actual) in the Boston/Cambridge/Allston area and take some photos so everyone else can have the "local IJ" feel. Boston area anyone? |
